I never really liked to wear makeup and I’ve always loved a natural aesthetic. I am also a people watcher and a strong observer of those around me. Not to judge, but to assess and to appreciate. I love people, and connecting with them. I’m curious by nature.
This, and my grandmother’s cancer diagnosis, eventually led me to nursing as my profession. I have been practicing medicine since 2008, and have worked in a variety of fields. My favorite was the operating room. This was my first exposure to plastic surgery and aesthetics. This is also where I learned that I loved doing detailed procedures with my hands. Eventually, I decided to go back to school so that I could provide more advanced care to patients, and went to Boise State for my Nurse Practitioner studies, graduating in 2016.
I’ll admit, I struggled to find my niche as a nurse practitioner. I tried cardiology, and hospital medicine, but nothing seemed to fit right. Not until I found aesthetic medicine. This field of medicine instantly clicked for me. I love the combination of artistry and medicine. I love connecting with my patients and helping them feel their very best. I love working with my hands, doing intricate and detailed treatments. And I love empowering the women and community around me.
